Dr. Archana Naik secured first prize in District level Avishkar competition for the poster entitled “A Novel and Economical topical herbal formulation of carotenoids to combat ageing” held in December 2017 and also represented Mumbai University at 12th State level Avishkar Research Convention held at RahuriKrushiVidyapeeth, Ahmednagar, in January 2018.

Dr. Chhaya Gadgoli and Dr. Archana Naik secured 3rd prize in poster presentation competition entitled “22nd Phytopharm International Conference 2018” held at Horgen, Switzerland in June 2018. 42 Countries had participated in the conference and 120 posters based on the research on medicinal plants from various countries were displayed and presented.

IIT Delhi- SVBCP students- Ms. Isha Gogate, Ms. Dhanapriya S, Ms. Tanvi Halakatti, Ms. Chithra Konar and Ms. Zainab Najam won the 2nd Runner up prize for their oral presentation on the concept of Drug Designing- Hydrogels and their applications at the NATIONAL LEVEL WETLAB CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANISED BY MAKE INTERN AND IIT DELHI on 15th February 2020 at IIT Campus Delhi. These students were the merit rank winners of the Zonal level workshop on Drug Designing and Development organised by the Placement and Higher studies cell of SVBCP in coordination with Make Intern and Shastra IIT Madras.

Final Year Student - Ms Sanjivani Pathak published a review article entitled "Immunotherapy for Cancer" in International journal of Science and Research (IJSR), Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2019 under the guidance of Mrs Sunanda Patil, Asst. Professor (Pharmacology).

Avishkar: Our TY students Mr. Amogh Bhanushali, Mr.Shubham Pawar, Mr. Rahul Yadav and Mr. Trunal Nikam won silver medal at Unergraduate level at 14th State level Avishkar Research convention, Jan 2020 for the research project entitled “Artificial Rain and Effluent treatment via CO2 Carrier”.

E-summit: SVBCP E-cell had registered under basic track of National Entrepreneurship Challenge of IIT. From 480 Entrepreneurship Cells from 80 cities across India participating in the National Entrepreneurship competition (NEC) SVBCP E-Cell achieved the position 2nd runner-up. SVBCP E-Cell was the only pharmacy college participating in the NEC finals.

SVBCP students participated in Street Play and Poster making competition at UDAAN FESTIVAL on 22nd January 2019 as a part of Lifelong Learning and Extension. Third Year B.Pharm student Ms Mahima Panchal won first prize in the poster competition.

First-Year Students- Ms.Ruchira Inani, Mr.Akshay Yenare, and Mr Sanket Jadhav bagged First Prize in Poster Presentation A competition organized by Prajapati Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Dombivli(E) on National Youth Day on 5th January 2019.

Third Year Student Ms Janhavi Bhavsar was awarded Schott Scholarship of Rs. 25,000 in the academic year 2018-19. SCHOTT Glass India has launched a program to encourage deserving students of Pharmacy stream. Janhavi was one of the six students who were awarded this scholarship all over Mumbai.
