  Seminar & Workshop

Training : Seminars, Workshops, Guest lectures are arranged from time to time to equip students with leadership qualities, communication skill, R & D orientation and marketing skill. A Multi Media Room is also being set with sophisticated Technical Aids for exclusive training.

Industrial Relationship

We are minting good industrial relationship with Pharmaceutical industries and manufacturing companies for giving industrial training to the students as well as updating the practical knowledge of the students to job oriented training. This helps in exchange of facilities of the industries with our institute. Some of these scientists have also expressed their desire to give guest lecturers to our students. Our digital library was well appreciated by them and they have expressed their want to use our library for literature search for some of their research work.

State Level Contests : Saraswathi Vidya Bhavan's College of Pharmacy hosts Two Mega Events Young Pharmacist Innovative Project award” and Pharma quiz at state level. These twin events, the brain child of our Founder President are conducted annually in Jan/Feb, at the college premises. by our institute. We provide an opportunity and a platform to the young budding scientist of the state as they bring out their original ideas and skills in the form of posters and model. The YPIPA has been a yearly event for the last five years. Several colleges from all over the state participate in these Contests.

Invention is the nucleus for expansion and growth. During these two decades it has been the endeavor of SVBCP to recognize and promote quality research among budding pharmacists. It provides a stage to these nascent scientists to bring out their original pioneering ideas and skills in a state level competition called the "Young Pharmacist Innovative Project".

The objectives of this event are

  • To identify and encourage young talents with research aptitude to take up research as a career.
  • To set up an interactive network of young, fresh and talented researchers in pharmaceuticals and Health care.
  • To shape up the novel ideas in pharmacy practice in India.

This event shares a platform between the student community and the industrialists thus bridging a gap between these two groups.
